Macy Strader has been selected to serve as the executive editor for the East Tennessean during the 2024-2025 school year. Strader is currently an undergraduate student studying media and communication with concentrations in psychology and marketing. She started as a news reporter for the East Tennessean in Fall 2022 and currently serves as exterior relations for the Student Government Association. Strader is also a Roan Scholar, serves on the executive board for TEDxETSU and is an ETSU ambassador. As executive editor, she hopes to boost student engagement with the paper and the East Tennessean's involvement in student activities.
