First year, first place! Our miniature East Penn Fahrenheit truck made its debut in spectacular fashion in last week’s Pinewood Big Rig Challenge at the TMC Show in Nashville. It won the Best Appearing Truck Award! The pictures below are just the appetizer…wait till you see videos of the truck in action! This is a tribute to everyone’s creativity and efforts involved in designing the truck. We can’t wait to be back next year!

It’s Global Recycling Day! Thank you to everyone who uses their #Power2Recycle by bringing our products back for proper recycling. Your efforts help us process 30,000 lead batteries per day at our recycling facility. Two of those batteries recently came from Bass Pro Tour fisherman Grae Buck, who stopped by our factory sales store to drop off used batteries from his car and lawnmower. “It’s a no-brainer,” says Grae, who majored in Environmental Resource Management at Penn State. “The batteries are 99 percent recyclable, so you’re conserving resources and protecting the environment. And the factory store made it super easy.” Grae also said he planned to get a nice lunch from the money he received for his batteries. There are plenty of opportunities beyond Global Recycling Day to be a lead battery recycler.
