#EACOP is participating in the 5th Annual National Content Conference 2024. Our Incoming Managing Director Guillaume Dulout presented an in-depth overview of Uganda's oil and gas sector with a specific focus on EACOP. #NCC2024

On November 26, 2024, the #EACOP participated in a press briefing for the upcoming 6th Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) Run, set for December 1, 2024, under the theme "Partnerships for the Goals." During the briefing, Deputy MD John B. Habumugisha reaffirmed EACOP's commitment to sustainability and community-driven initiatives aligned with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals. #EACOP announced a donation of $5,000 to support the establishment of regional tree nurseries aimed at raising 20 million indigenous trees for reforestation. This contribution was symbolically handed over to the 1st Deputy Prime Minister, Rt. Hon. Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga, the Patron of the SDG Run. Details: https://lnkd.in/eJh_N2CX

On Saturday, 23rd November 2024, the East Africa Crude Oil Pipeline (EACOP) project, in partnership with University Of Dodoma and Empower Limited, successfully hosted the EACOP Students’ Conference at the CIVE Lecture Room B (LRB 106). Themed “The Role of Youth in the Energy Sector and its Transition in Africa,” the event aimed to connect academia with the energy industry, inspiring young minds to take an active role in shaping Africa’s energy future.
