We can't wait to see you at the Building Performance Association's National Home Performance Conference in NOLA!!!! Mark your calendars for Wednesday, April 9 from 8:30 - 10:00am. We've got an all-star lineup for this session including Jeff Flaherty with Wise Home Energy LLC, Andrew Rodriguez with PSD, Katie Consales with CMC Energy Services, & Sonia Cruz with Earth Forward Group. This session will be a gameshow style panel that shows cut corners, poor workmanship, and installed measures that will make you say 'what were they thinking!' This will be an informal educational experience that talks about the natural consequences that are caused when we don't stop and think about what we're doing. This session will serve as a great reminder as to why we do what we do and what happens when you make strikingly obvious mistakes in a customer's home. We all might laugh a little and question what we're seeing, but we will certainly walk away with a new perspective and motivation to do things better. We're excited to bring the first-ever gameshow-style panel to NHPC and hope to see you there!

??? We are beyond excited to welcome Shane Bulick as the new Director of Programs at Earth Forward Group! ?? Shane brings an impressive wealth of experience, with nearly two decades in energy efficiency, weatherization, and building science. A proud graduate of The Pennsylvania State University with a Bachelor's in Physical & Environmental Geography, Shane has contributed to impactful ecology research projects in South Africa and San Salvador, supported by NOAA and NSF. He’s also a certified BPI HEP Energy Auditor and Quality Control Inspector, with extensive experience in energy auditing, field staff supervision, and policy development for both residential and commercial energy efficiency initiatives. Shane’s true passion lies in advocating for underserved communities, working to ensure they have access to the benefits of energy efficiency and weatherization programs. With expertise in program development, project management, and a data-centric approach, we know Shane will help drive meaningful change at Earth Forward Group. We are thrilled to have him on the team and can’t wait to see the incredible impact he’ll make! As fall approaches, we are looking back at a successful summer and are so thankful for our friends, partners, clients, and students who made it possible. Our 2nd Annual Summer Energy Certification Program was the highlight of our summer where 54 students completed coursework achieving their certifications in USGBC LEED General Associate, BPI Building-Analyst Technician, and BPI Infiltration & Duct Leakage.
