#SundaySpecies: Whale sharks are the world’s largest living fish. They grow to 18 metres long and weigh up to 19 tonnes—as much as three elephants! These sharks typically live to between 70 and 100 years old. While we know that they migrate thousands of kilometres every year across the ocean, scientists are just beginning to understand their migration patterns, and very little is known about where whale sharks breed or give birth. ?? Bron video: Fernando Arrigorriaga
