Last Saturday Earth Engineering Inc. (EEI) was proud to be a sponsor at the Mikes Seafood Run/Walk for Autism in Sea Isle City, New Jersey. Ward and Teri McMasters participated in the walk and they were joined by Carolyn Lang of EEI’s New Jersey Division. The photo shows them posing with the Polar Bear mascot of the event. Also participating in the event was Eagles favorite Jason Kelce and his family. Ward and Jason exchanged a fist a pump along the route as Jason was gracious as always walking along with his family to support the cause. A true fan boy moment for Ward. The event was a tremendous success raising funds to support Autism programs. The motto for the event is “Any day you can do something for children with disabilities, it’s a good day!"

Earth Engineering Inc. (EEI) was retained to investigate the persistent settlement of a residential roadway for a development in Tredyffrin Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. Previous attempts to address the issue had been unsuccessful. The site is in a karst region which is prone to sinkholes. However, the subsurface investigation determined that the settlement was not due to sinkhole activity but rather to historic miscellaneous fill material which was loosely placed and some of which was prone to decomposition. EEI provided remediation recommendations to resolve the issue.
