Early Learning Academies is honored to be selected as the grantee to serve Head Start and Early Head Start children in New Hanover County, North Carolina. ELA has years of experience providing Head Start and Early Head Start services through childcare partnerships, and we are excited to begin offering these services at the Excel Learning Center locations in New Hanover County this fall.

One of our favorite parts of being #EarlyChildhoodEducation professionals is helping young children learn about their community. Recently, our national network of centers invited first responders to help teach students about safety. At Morgan’s Early Learning Centers in Michigan, local firefighters stopped by to teach the children about fire trucks. At Educare Academy in Ohio, the Toledo Police Department visited and shared what it means to be a first responder. At Little People’s Landing in Colorado, one of our parents was generous enough to visit the classrooms to discuss her job as a police officer. #ECE #Childcare #Community
