Since 2003, Early Intervention LLC has provided the children of the Greater New York City Area with Speech-Language Pathologists, and Special Education and Literacy Teachers who have been fingerprinted and cleared for work by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and New York City's Department of Education. We aim to supplement and reinforce classroom instruction with concrete models and intuitive explanations. Our educational professionals help students attain their academic goals through a thoughtful program of instruction that tailors itself to the needs of each individual student. We take pride in raising the test scores of struggling students because academic improvement enhances each student’s self-confidence. As an added benefit, our program raises the passing rates of schools. Our to services are FREE to children who have an Individual Family Service Plan or an Individual Education Plan.

  • NOW HIRING SETSS (SPECIAL EDUCATION TEACHER SUPPORT SERVICES) TEACHERS/TUTORS (in Greater New York Area) For more information, please email [email protected], or call: 888-320-5550. We'd love to hear from you! We are seeking New York State certified interns or Special Education or Literacy teachers for small groups of 1-5 students for full and part-time contract positions in private schools for the duration of the current school year. Successful teachers will continue in successive school years. Daytime and after school hours are available. Day-To-Day Duties ? Teach in small groups of 1 to 5 students ? Track student attendance ? Complete monthly invoices ? Write monthly and annual student progress reports Requirements ? Hold New York State certification as an intern or as a teacher of students with disabilities or literacy ? Clearance and approval by NYC DOE ? Must NOT currently be employed by NYC DOE or previously employed full-time by the NYC DOE within the past 12 months ? Fingerprint clearance ? Applicants must be experienced working with students one-on-one and in small groups of 5 or less Compensation ? We offer competitive rates which vary relative to the number of students in each group
