This November, California voters will decide on Proposition 5, a crucial constitutional amendment that EAH Housing strongly supports. This measure proposes lowering the voter approval threshold for local bonds funding affordable housing and public infrastructure from 66% to 55%, making it easier to secure funding for essential projects. Proposition 5 would also require annual audits to ensure that funds are used appropriately. Originally introduced as Assembly Constitutional Amendment (ACA) 1 by Assemblymember Cecilia Aguilar-Curry, this proposition has garnered support from EAH Housing and a wide range of housing and labor organizations. #Prop5?#AffordableHousing?#PublicInfrastructure?#CA2024Ballot
