Women have played a key role in shaping housing policies throughout history. This Women’s History Month, we highlight Catherine Bauer, a trailblazer whose work helped influence modern affordable housing programs. As an advisor to the Federal Public Housing Authority in the 1930s, Bauer was instrumental in shaping policies that led to the development of public programs.
