Out with the old, and in with the new! A couple of recent project highlights at Philadelphia International Airport upgrading all of the old fluorescent lighting around the airport roadways, taxi lots, and employee parking areas. Next up, upgrading every single light fixture in Philadelphia International Airport Parking Garages A to F Terminal, floors 1 to 7! Over 5,000 lights will be replaced with new LED lights that increase visibility and security, while significantly decreasing electrical usage rates for the garages and with an expedited schedule of 17 weeks, it’s time to get to work!

Eagle I. Electric proudly sponsored holes for two recent golf outings. The first being the Mark Kelly Sip & Swing which supports the teams at Pennsylvania Hospital's ALS Clinic and ALS United Mid-Atlantic in their ongoing treatments and research to fight ALS. The second being the Joseph Procacci Foundation's Estrella Naciente which provides educational initiatives and financial support for academically accomplished Hispanic students in our local communities. Both were great events to help support those in need and we were grateful to be a part of them!?

We had the pleasure of hosting our annual Eagle I. Electric Phillies Game last night at the ballpark! We appreciated the opportunity to thank our employees as well as some of our company partners, suppliers, and customers. Best of all, we got to see a great Phillies win! Thanks again to all who came out for the game, and we are looking forward to a strong second half of 2024!

Eagle I. Electric celebrated two momentous achievements this year. Our 35th?Anniversary and the retirement of our co-founder Gerald Rothstein Jr. A joint celebration was held at Gerry’s favorite live music venue, World Café Live. It was a fun evening filled with music, dinner, drinks, and partying! Thanks to all who attended and made these last 35 years of business possible and congrats to Gerry, you earned it!

As you may have seen in the?Philadelphia Inquirer, and many other news outlets, the Boathouse Row Relighting ceremony has been schedule for?Thursday, March 7th?from 6-8pm. Eagle I. Electric, with the help of IBEW 98 Electricians, was the sole electrical contractor hired for this project. Eagle I. Electric was responsible for demolition of the existing system and installation of the new upgraded LED lighting system and controls.?The new lighting system has 6,400 individual LED lights, with 16 million color combinations. This will allow the City of Philadelphia and Fairmount Park Conservancy to light up the iconic Boathouses in many new and unique ways!
