EAA AirVenture Oshkosh? is EAA's annual convention and fly-in which draws more than 600,000 people and 10,000 aircraft with the help of over 5,000 volunteers. We're hiring! At 12 years old, Steve Noyes encountered his first L-19 Birddog at Plum Island Airport in Massachusetts, where he stripped paint off surplus L-19s for a banner-towing business. These early experiences sparked his passion for restoring, repairing, and modifying Cessna Model 305s. Today, Steve is known as the “Birddog Doctor,” a trusted expert dedicated to keeping these iconic aircraft flying.
