Whether you're in robotics, healthcare, or any fast-moving industry, this is the story of a first-time CEO navigating the realities of leadership. The article captures the journey from startup founder to people-first leader—highlighting lessons in adaptability, customer obsession, and the critical role of team dynamics. But the heart of it lies in a deeper truth: long-term success comes from investing in people. By creating space for employees to grow as leaders and take on real responsibility, this CEO shows how shaping culture and talent is just as strategic as scaling products. For executive assistants, it's a reminder that we have a vital role in weaving that growth into the everyday rhythm of the business. #leadership #peoplefirst #intention https://lnkd.in/ewa9ui_V

  • This. ?? There’s a reason moments like this feel so familiar. Executive assistants have?countless?stories—honestly, probably enough for a book on this exact topic. ?? No one wants to be the elephant in the room—the one everyone turns to, expecting answers, while internally scrambling to keep it together. Simon Sinek’s reminder is inspiring:?We don’t have to know all the answers. And we don’t have to pretend we do. Here’s to the executive assistants quietly holding it all together....until we don’t have to ?? #RealTalk #RadicalCandor

There’s a scene that plays out in conference rooms across the world every day. A #middlemanager sits at the table while their boss asks a challenging question. The entire room turns to look. In that moment, despite not having a clear answer, the manager nods confidently and begins crafting a response that sounds plausible but isn’t entirely honest. Sound familiar? It happens more often than anyone likes to admit. Now, here's?the single best thing I've ever learned in my career: ?? I don’t have to know all the answers, and I don’t have to pretend that I do. • Complexity and conflict are everyday realities in the corporate world. Navigating them with grace—without popping under pressure—is a skill few truly master. Books like? How to Untie a Balloon Without Popping?offer the kind of insight that helps deflate tension before it bursts. Excited to learn from Ryan Dunlap's mastery in this space.

Is it okay if I brag on myself for a minute? I wrote a book. And if I’m honest, I couldn’t be prouder! For context, I started writing this book in 2016, and it took me every bit of nine years to complete. Nine years of writing, revising, scrapping, rethinking, second-guessing, overthinking, deleting, stalling, and refining. But in the process of writing this book, I finished grad school. I launched a company. I established a following. I grew a platform. And most importantly, I found my voice. Today, that voice reaches more than 500,000 followers around the world thanks to social media. In fact, it was social media that opened the door for the book deal that ultimately forced me to finish what I started. In many ways, I'm not the same person I was when I first began writing this book. Today, I get to add published author to my list of accomplishments, but it didn’t happen overnight. It was the result of tough lessons learned through experience, research, and a whole lot of trial and error. And I can confidently say it was worth every bit of the journey. About the Book How to Untie a Balloon: A Negotiator's Guide to Avoid Popping Under Pressure uses the analogy of a balloon to illustrate how pressure can cause us to pop. Like balloons, it’s easy for us to get filled up with hot air—stress, tension, unspoken frustrations—but it’s much harder to release that pressure in a controlled way before we reach our breaking point. And just like a balloon, the more pressure we carry inside, the less pressure we can withstand on the outside. Why This Matters We are living in a time where decency and personal responsibility are being replaced by blame-shifting, accusations, and outright attacks. We are all under increased pressure, and how we manage that pressure affects our relationships, careers, and overall well-being. This book provides a practical roadmap to help readers reduce the pressure they carry inside so they can better withstand the pressures of the world around them. A huge thank you to the team at Mango Publishing for making this book a reality—especially Hugo Villabona for the constant support, check-ins, and encouragement throughout the writing process. This is just the beginning!

    Helping Creators Build Their Empires

Just watched the Adobe Summit keynote, and one stat totally caught me off guard... “Two-thirds of marketers expect content demand to 5x by 2026.” Five times more content. In just two years. That’s insane. And honestly, I don’t think most creators are ready for that, let alone big slow companies. For years, we’ve seen businesses struggle to scale content...slow approvals, terrible creative concepts, and scattered creator operations. Now, Adobe is making a huge bet that AI can fix this. They just announced AI agents for GenStudio, that basically automate a company's content production. Not just content creation, but the entire system behind it. That means trained AI Agents will be handling workflow approvals, asset management, campaign execution, and personalization at scale. That’s the part that I had never really considered before... AI not just playing a role in making content faster, but actually playing a bigger role within the infrastructure that decides how content gets approved and distributed in the first place. Which makes me think... we’ve spent so much time talking about AI replacing creative work, but the real shift might be happening on the infrastructure behind the scenes. The companies that figure out how to integrate AI into their operational processes, not just their content, will be the ones that win. And the ones that don’t? They’re about to get left behind. #AdobeSummit #Content #AI #Marketing #AdobeExpressPartner

The role of the executive assistant varies across domains, but one common thread in the fabric of corporate America is that EAs are architects of order, influence, and execution. As AI reshapes the workplace, the skills that set EAs apart are evolving, making it critical to deepen their capabilities to drive efficiency, influence decisions, and architect seamless workflows. Explore Microsoft Copilot, it is more than a tool—it’s an extension of actions we perform, a force multiplier in execution, and a gateway to a new era of digital fluency. Check out this?free?LinkedIn Learning course ?? ?Microsoft Copilot for Productivity?by Microsoft and LinkedIn. It’s packed with practical insights on integrating Copilot into the Microsoft 365 suite.
