What I didn't expect from today's Bramble Brew: ???? A teenager from a military defence family took the initiative to repurpose wood and reface our planters. He took charge of the project, ran home to get his toolbox, and guided his new veteran friend. This fostered skill sharing across generations while helping to build confidence throughout the process! ?? We watched as 24 frogs laid their spawn right in front of us in our pond! A successful new habitat has been created for the declining frog population. Hurrah! ?? A military spouse expressed her gratitude for providing her family with a safe space, guidance, and friendship before her husband deploys next week. ?? ?? Policy training... but make it fun! ?????? At e50K CIC, we know that training can sometimes feel like a time drain. So, we flipped the script! Instead of “death by PowerPoint,” each team member took on one policy and found a creative way to teach it to the rest of us. And wow, did they deliver! ?? The Disciplinary Policy was sung to the tune of Let It Go ?? Remote Working was presented as a guided meditation ???♂? Modern Slavery was turned into an escape room ?? And my personal favorite— The Grievance procedure was told through the story of Winnie the Pooh.
