By continuously improving their knowledge, our career counselors ensure that young people receive comprehensive and well-informed career guidance. ? Which education and job options are available? ? Those who know the E2E Education to Employment programme are familiar with its mission: to provide better career guidance and counselling services, skills and opportunities for young women and men in Serbia. ?? But a deeper look into it will show you that its work does not stop there.? ?? Aside from helping young people who struggle to find jobs, E2E is also supporting those who are not in education, employment or training (NEET), ensuring a more inclusive approach to improving youth employability in the Serbian labour market. ????? ? Recently, E2E, alongside the Ministry of Labour, Employment, Veteran and Social Affairs and the EU IPA 2020 TA project, organised?training among youth workers, civil society organisations and employment counselors, helping them with outreach and activation activities geared towards NEET youth. ?? Coming from the Youth Guarantee programme, these workers and counsellors received the necessary knowledge to teach the NEET youth about their rights at work, social protection services and adult education opportunities.? "For the past eight years, the E2E has been working on strengthening capacities of local civil society organisations to assist the youth in their transition from school to work, particularly the NEET who demonstrate low confidence in the institutions of the system, such as schools and public employment service," says Milena Jankovic, the Intervention Area Leader for Local Labour Market Governance and Policy?of E2E. "This resulted in ten local career centres or Job Info Centres (JICs) that assist the youth directly, establishing close cooperation with other actors in the public and private sectors. Youth Guarantee nurtures the same values – in order for programmes like this to work, they must be based on wide partnerships. Therefore, the outreach to NEET training was not the first support the E2E provided to the Youth Guarantee. We believe that our work has laid the foundation for them to be introduced in Serbia. As a result, counsellors and youth workers from three of the JICs have been chosen at the national level to implement the outreach to NEET in the three territories of Serbia during the pilot phase of Youth Guarantee's implementation." ???? Key task includes preparation and execution of the training program including topics: - Establishment of contact with NEET with health problems and limitations and NEET PWDs who are not on the unemployment registry (where and how to reach them); - Models of activation and counselling; - Referral to the NES and informing NEET of the process of disability categorization; - Staying in touch - Support NEET after registering with NES and entering the YG.
