In this article our founder Brian J. Adamek, CFP?, CPWA?, CVA, CExP?, shares how we help our clients prepare for life’s unexpected moments.
Early in my career, I believed clients sought me out solely for technical financial advice. However, as time passed, I recognized that while expertise remains crucial, clients really seek to be heard. They wish to share their aspirations, values, and interests, aiming for a financial strategy that truly resonates with their vision of life. It became clear that understanding their unique stories and goals is foundational before providing financial guidance. This realization led me to adjust how I work with our clients at E-Wealth Partners. Our method now involves knowing the right questions to ask, ones that deepen our understanding of the client's experiences. Sometimes, this means reframing questions to gain clearer insights. Often, we act as facilitators in discussions between spouses or between aging parents and their children, ensuring the dialogue aligns with their stated goals and long-term visions. Our role is to guide these conversations thoughtfully and intentionally. In this article, I share how we help our clients navigate through life events, both good and challenging.
