EPX50-OVERLAY is a moisture-insensitive, low-modulus epoxy urethane co-polymer overlay resin, offering longer life cycles than traditional epoxy polymer resins. It provides a waterproof, chloride impervious coating that is designed primarily for bonding skid-resistant overlays to bridges, elevated slabs and PCCP. In addition to High Friction Surface Treatments, it is also excellent as a binder in epoxy mortars used for patching concrete. Meets ASTM C881 (Type III. Grade 1 & 2. Class B & C.), as well as being NTPEP (HFTO) rated and AASHTO compliant. EPX50-OVERLAY is also VOC compliant, 100% solids and is non-regulated by the DOT for transportation within the United States.
