On March 11th, at the annual Tropical Smoothie Cafe Franchise Convention, themed "Full Throttle," DYNE Hospitality Group received several awards recognizing our commitment to excellence. Our team, including Melissa Jackson (Chief Operating Officer), Tom Torpey (Senior Director of Operations), Steve Anderson (Director of Operations), Crystal Staggers (Director of Operations), Nick Crouch (Co-CEO), and Cheryl Switters (VP of Training), was there to accept the honors. Some of the awards we received included those for sales and service. The highlight of the night was the Developer of the Year award, which acknowledges DYNE's significant contributions in advancing the brand, building amazing locations in prime areas, and maintaining top-notch operations with a great company culture. After three days spent learning and planning for the brand’s future, the team was excited and energized about the direction we’re heading. We owe these incredible achievements to our wonderful DYNE team, whose hard work, dedication, and passion made it all possible. We are truly thankful for these awards and for the chance to be part of such an amazing brand.

Team Member Spotlight! Cheers to 12 years! Amalia Hernandez, who spent 12 years at TSC and 10 years with DYNE, continues to brighten the café with her welcoming smile and warm presence. Amalia's District Manager Zach Ramsey and teammates had this to say about her "Amalia was a key driver in my success as a young and growing leader at DYNE. She consistently demonstrated dedication, work ethic, speed, and perfection in her role. Cheers to 12 years! On February 28th, we celebrated the 12-year anniversary of Perla Loera and Diana 'Momma' Vasquez. Perla serves as the GM of AR021, with Diana working alongside her as an invaluable crew member. Both have shown unwavering dedication to the success of AR021. Rob Morris, our District Manager, hired and mentored them for nearly 11 years. He specifically developed Perla to take over his role as GM when he was promoted to DM. We want to thank Rob for the time and effort he put into shaping two exceptional members of DYNE. A fun story from Rob: 'The first time I met Perla, I was at Chili's and turned down her application... my bad! But when she finally joined me at Tropical in Searcy, AR, we had a record-breaking opening with $50k that week, and the impact has only grown since. Perla quickly became the heart of TSC Searcy, earning the title of the 'Face of the Business.' Everyone in town knows her for providing great experiences for guests and creating an excellent work environment for her crew. Even when she was on a respirator battling COVID, her crew worked tirelessly to keep everything running smoothly. Perla is deeply appreciated not only as a GM but also as a friend. Here's to another 12 years of success and friendship! "

We kicked off 2025 with an incredible Grand Opening in Dublin, GA, marking a historic milestone for DYNE and for Tropical Smoothie Cafe. Our launch set a record as the highest sales volume Grand Opening in Tropical Smoothie Cafe’s history since its inception in 1997. With over 1,400 locations across 44 states, this achievement is a true testament to the strength of DYNE’s operations and marketing capabilities and the receptive welcome from the amazing Dublin, GA community. A special thanks to the Laurens County Chamber of Commerce for their unwavering support from the very beginning. We couldn’t be more grateful for the warm welcome and enthusiasm!

Last week, DYNE wrapped up our Q4 quarterly meetings with our State of the Business Meeting led by Co-CEOs Nick Crouch and COO Melissa Jackson. We celebrated our achievements from Q4, and shared key lessons learned. We also discussed what's most important for 2025 for our teams! Recognition was given to Michael Anderson and Bryant Simmons for their dedication to investing in people. Their focus on our core value of "Investing in People" was evident throughout the quarter. The meeting concluded with the announcement of our General Manager and District Manager of the year. Stephanie Lunceford was named GM of the year from Oklahoma, and Jarrett Beel from Florida, led the district of the year.

We were honored to be recognized by Tropical Smoothie Café as the Developer of the Year, alongside receiving other accolades for service excellence and outstanding food quality. These achievements truly highlight the importance of teamwork and the collective effort put forth by everyone. This year, we expanded our portfolio by acquiring seven successful cafés in Northwest Arkansas, further establishing DYNE's presence in the market. We also opened five new cafés, including our first-ever double drive-thru location, enhancing accessibility and service for our customers. The successful launch of our new smoothie bowl has added a popular item to our menu, reflecting our commitment to meeting our customers' evolving tastes and preferences. We kicked off the Fast and Flawless initiative to cultivate a culture of speed and efficiency, ensuring we consistently meet and exceed our customers' expectations. We were thrilled to announce the promotion of four internal district managers and one multi-unit manager, showcasing the talent within our team.
