We recently completed a lab project for NOAA at the USCG Muskegon facility. Trespa and Corian was used for the counters. Cabinets are Wilsonart HPL with matte black hardware.

Our Holiday party started with pizza from Top Shelf at Muskegon Axe Throwing for a fun team building adventure. Later we had a dinner celebration at Handsome Hobo’s. And with that, our 2024 business year comes to a close so our employees can enjoy the next 12 days off with families over the holidays. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from all of us at DWS!

Our largest project of 2024 is now open and in use: Corewell Health’s new Orthopedic Center challenged us in nearly every aspect including complexity, conditions and schedule, materials, and scope of work. We could not be prouder of our team for achieving this milestone project. DWS provided custom nurse stations, reception desks, a café area, wall panels, and volume cabinetry and counters. Some of these pieces are the most complex assemblies that we've ever created. Wilsonart plastic laminate and Corian? Design solid surface were utilized in the project. #bedynamic

The new two-story medical facility for Shoreline Orthopedics and Holland Hospital in Zeeland is a wrap. What a fantastic project to highlight all of DWS’ diverse internal capabilities! The facility includes high volume medical casework, employee lockers, solid surface counters with integral sinks, wall panels and custom desks with solid surface shrouds. Wilsonart finishes were utilized in the design. The product doesn’t tell the whole story as this was also a very aggressive schedule with limited lead time. Our team pulled off an amazing feat for a great client in this situation.?#bedynamic

The final phase of Hackley Community Care's Clinton Street Clinic was just completed. This area included a new large registration desk and several exam rooms. This was a multi-year renovation and we're excited to see the facility open.

Redhawk Elementary in Cedar Springs is in the final stages of renovation and their new reception desks absolutely shine (…in our humble opinion). Thank you Triangle Associates for another wonderful project. #bedynamic

We provided complex millwork and anti-ligature casework in the addition at UHS Cedar Creek Hospital in St Johns. This great example of overcoming material and design challenges can be seen on their FB page. Generally we are not fans of “reface” projects given the limited shop built items do not cover manufacturing overhead; existing conditions often cause us to be only as good (or bad) as the last fabricator while we’re forced put our name on the project; they are difficult for estimating fixed cost labor due to factors outside of our control and the unknown situations lying beneath. We always give a truthful analysis and when long time customer Tridonn Construction Co came to us for this unique project renovation at the former Hackley Hospital Emergency Room turned new health clinic for Hackley Community Care, we found it was financially logical for a reface vs building all new nurse station units. We’re pleased with the results considering the poor existing conditions. We saved the client significant costs in materials and labor going this direction vs. new desk assemblies. Formica plastic laminate and Hanex solid surface finishes were used in this project. Before and after photos below.

We just finished up a fun renovation project for Spring Lake District Library, which included plam cabinets, solid surface counters, retail style slatwall panels, and a custom wood plank boat feature. Always a pleasure with Tridonn Construction Co and we love having examples like this to show our complete capabilities. While our main focus will always be volume cabinets and counters, custom is still our standard. #bedynamic
