It’s Wallpaper Wednesday featuring our beautiful Miss Virginia on final at KVBW. Did you know? The Douglas C-47 played a pivotal role in the development of airborne medical evacuation during World War II. The aircraft was modified to carry stretchers and medical personnel, effectively transforming it into a flying ambulance. Known as the "Skytrain" or "Gooney Bird," the C-47 could transport up to 18 wounded soldiers at a time, significantly improving the survival rate for injured troops by enabling swift evacuation from the front lines to medical facilities. Dynamic Aviation requested our incredible team to join us in donating supplies for those affected by Hurricane Helene, and the response was terrific! We set a goal to fill one pallet box of much-needed items, but our team came together in true Dynamic Aviation spirit and exceeded all expectations! ?? In 36 hours, we collected three full pallet boxes of supplies, totaling 1,068 pounds! ??These donations are now on their way to assist in relief efforts through #OperationAirdrop in partnership with Blue Ridge Aviation and Shenandoah Valley Airport (SHD). ???
