Now, users can easily access and reuse material and pipe schedule definitions through the Tools/Database menu. With new input fields, selecting a pipe schedule automatically populates the corresponding outer diameter and wall thickness, simplifying the creation of pipe elements. The latest BOSpulse 5.2 release enhances the user interface for more efficient pulsation analyses. A key update is the introduction of a global preferences window, allowing you to customize the default node number increment and floating point number display format. You can also set your default model settings, such as vertical axis and model view mode, and selectively hide unwanted model parameters. Additionally, the handling of “Dead End” flow boundary conditions has been refined. Warnings for implicit dead-end conditions are no longer triggered for PSD element endpoints, and the model viewer now allows you to disable the rendering of these conditions. Other UI improvements include an enhanced ruler tool for standing wave calculations, highlighting local maxima in plots, and improved rendering of unit labels.
