Our own Maalik Hutchinson, IT Security and Compliance Administrator, recently attended a DC Capitals game as part of Salute to the Military Night. Maalik served as an Infantry Team Leader and Casket Team Lead with the 3rd US Infantry Regiment, Echo Company, also known as The Official Presidential Escort (The Honor Guard). He was responsible for leading and training a team of soldiers, helping ensure their readiness for various missions and ceremonial duties. As a Casket Team Lead, he had the solemn honor of conducting military funerals, providing the highest level of respect and dignity to fallen service members and their families. He also provided support for families who have lost loved ones in the line of duty. His service commendations include: -Army Service Ribbon -War on Terrorism Ribbon -National Defense Ribbon -2010 Honor Graduate of the 3rd US Infantry Regiment, Echo Company We are incredibly proud to have Maalik on our team, and glad to see him get to participate in this event recognizing his service.
