Our word of mouth business continues to grow on the commercial side. This is a testament of the great work we are doing in the community and our unwavering commitment to provide exceptional service. This week we were asked by the director of maintenance and operations for WSISD to submit a bid for moving services for three schools in the district. WSISD voters approved a $115 million bond package allowing for the upgrades of Brewer Middle School, Tannahill Intermediate School, and the Fine Arts Academy. The scope of work involves relocating over 400 student desk and 3500 boxes to new schools, disposing and recycling old outdated furniture from each school, and placing over 300 pieces of furniture in storage. As a young minority owned business these are the opportunities you pray for. Similar to being a young athlete you pray for the chance for the coach to put you in the game so you can showcase your talents. As a young business the feelings and emotions are the same. We are built for moments like these. A project this size will require a lot of moving parts including labor, trucks, equipment, and a great deal of project management. At DWD Moving Services we consider ourselves the experts in long-distance relocations. Today our team completed a four-day trip from Granbury, TX to Flagstaff, AZ. This was a high-end customer who requested full white glove service. Our team disassembled, packed, wrapped, labeled, loaded, and drove 15 hours to the customer's new home in the mountains. When the team arrived, they unloaded, unpacked, unwrapped, and assembled all the furniture, ensuring the customer was 100% satisfied. Great job team!!!

Our partnership with One Rangers Way continues to grow as we complete our 4th day of moves. Today, we were asked to break down and pack up the model home at Texas Live and move it across the street to a unit at One Rangers Way. We were also able to assist a few new residents in getting their furniture unloaded and brought up to their apartments. Having a trusted and reliable moving partner can help businesses operate more efficiently. We continue to see steady growth as we start the new year. Congratulations DWD Moving Services for making the approved vendor list for UNT System. We are 1 of 5 HUB-minority certified vendors on the list which gives us opportunities to bid on moving services projects for all three campuses. We are the only vendor on the list carrying four minority certifications, the HUB, MBE, SBE, and DBE. Another exciting opportunity was presented to us today. We were asked to submit a bid for moving services for the $22M Flower Mound High School renovation project. Our scope will involve moving furniture, books, and other contents out of 60 classrooms before demolition. This opportunity aligns with our mission of providing exceptional service while positively impacting the community.
