The Political Action Committee was formed under the auspices of the Durham Committee on the Affairs of Black People (DCABP). We are consistently involved in voter education, registration, mobilization, and recruitment of qualified candidates in an effort to bring about the election of persons who are sensitive and responsive to the concerns of the Black community. DCABP PAC also recruits and trains candidates to seek elected offices, and county boards and commissions. This committee analyzes data and develops activities to promote more expansive political community involvement.
