The most recognized name in Minor League Baseball, the Durham Bulls have played a significant role in the development of the Triangle community since 1902. The team plays a 140-game schedule as a member of the International League and the Triple-A Affiliate of the Tampa Bay Rays. For over a century the Bulls have offered affordable family entertainment to fans in the Triangle and beyond with a strong brand of baseball, great entertainment and special events throughout the summer. The team won its first championship as a member of the North Carolina State League in 1917 and has since won 13 more, including six League Championships and two National Titles since making the jump to Triple-A in 1998. Several prominent Major League players have donned the Bulls jersey, including Hall of Famer Joe Morgan, David Justice, Chipper Jones, Andruw Jones, Carl Crawford, Evan Longoria, David Price and Blake Snell. Along with an impressive history of on-field accomplishments, the Bulls play a major role in their community with programs such as the Durham Bulls Youth Athletic League, Explorer Post 50 and many others. Civic organizations volunteer at ballpark concession stands to raise money for their organizations, team mascot Wool E. Bull makes over 250 appearances in the community per year, and the team donates thousands of tickets each season for charitable events.

Was awesome to have GONZALEZ PAINTER'S & CONTRACTOR'S here with us at the ballpark for our Tune Tuesday this week! It’s easy to say Gonzalez Painters & Contractors made a statement while here at our ballpark as countless fans were repping the team as well as their brand.(I’m sure everyone appreciated the handheld fans given the heat??) What a day it was at our friends MilkShake Factory grand opening. Thanks for letting Wool E. Bull come join in the fun....hope he didn't leave too much of a mess!
What a Grand Opening! Very grateful for the reception we received from Durham. There were so many smiles and excitement for our MilkShake Factory. Lots of great community partners helped spread the word, including American Tobacco Campus, Durham Downtown, Downtown Durham, Inc., Capitol Broadcasting Company., and Durham Bulls Baseball Club Very proud of our team. Thanks to the genius of SHAWN SMITH and the Milkshake Factory team, we had a well tuned operation with the foundation of 3 weeks of soft opening. It showed. Our average ticket time was 1 min 30 sec! Also, Wool E Bull is the coolest mascot. Stay tuned for our store in Cary, NC later this year!
