The pitch call was great and the sponsor is ready to sign on the dotted line. Now capture everything in the Sponsor Contract or a Letter of Agreement. The contract should include everything that was discussed and promised in the sales process. Be clear on activation space, comp tickets and credentials and all marketing deliverables. Is Cousin Bob really the best person to work your booth to promote your brand? I'm always surprised when I am at events and the staff behind a table or bar is just standing there with glazed eyes. Cut to a booth that brought in staff that is happy to be there - inviting attendees to take a photo or shaking up a cocktail with flair and a smile. You know which one I'll be visiting!! Also to consider... what is your staff wearing? Do you have custom shirts with your logo on it? Are they dressed in a theme that compliments your booth? If you are hiring Brand Ambassadors and don't know who will be assigned, can you provide hats or aprons that are one-size fits all with your branding? I did a full week of research of numerous Virtual Assistant agencies and of course created a detailed grid on the pros and cons of each one.
