DuraFuse Frames are steel moment frames that offer up-front savings and superior earthquake resilience. Up-front savings are possible because of simple fabrication, field-bolted erection, and reduced connection and column weights. Greater resilience is achieved by moving yielding out of the beam and into in a bolted bottom flange plate that can be replaced.

We're proud to celebrate the topping-out of The Wellness Village in Mead Valley, California, an unprecedented $580 million behavioral health campus that will transform healthcare in Riverside County!????? ? This milestone marks a significant achievement in our collaboration with Riverside University Health System, PMB, Snyder Langston, and Boulder Associates. The 450,000-square-foot campus will provide a complete continuum of behavioral health and wellness care—from urgent treatment to supportive housing—addressing critical gaps in healthcare services. ? ?Special recognition to Amy J. McCall, PhD, PE and the DuraFuse Frames team whose innovative SMF elements were erected in less than 5 minutes. As noted by SL and PMB, this engineering innovation facilitated 1,900 tons of steel framing to be completely erected in just 10 weeks! ?This engineering efficiency is helping keep this transformative project on schedule for completion in 2026. When finished, The Wellness Village will feature: ?Riverside County's first mental health urgent care for children under 13 ?Youth and Family Care Center ?Wellness and Education Center ?Recovery Center ?Supportive Housing ?Restorative Care facilities ?Community spaces including gardens, sports courts, and public market ? At Miyamoto International, we're honored to contribute our structural engineering expertise to a project that aligns perfectly with RUHS's mission to provide accessible, integrated healthcare that enhances the well-being of Riverside County residents.
