Happy Women in Construction Week! This week, our team had the chance to attend several events hosted by the National Association of Women in Construction Greater Birmingham Chapter, including a lunch with AGC Alabama, the ACE Trade Show, and a lunch with ABC & tour at the Academy of Craft Training. To celebrate, we also shared hard hat cookies with our team as a small token of appreciation. A huge thank you to all the amazing women on our team who are paving the way in the construction industry. This week, the Dunn Construction team had the privilege of attending two career fairs—one at Hayes Elementary and the other at Jackson Olin High School! It was a fantastic opportunity for our recruiting team to connect with the bright, young minds in our community and share the exciting possibilities within the construction industry.

A quick throwback to a project we had the opportunity to complete last year at Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport. It’s not every day you get to pave a runway! Or, as we like to say, if you drive on it, park on it, land on it—Dunn Construction builds it.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Dunn Construction! As we wrap up the year, we had the chance to celebrate our dedicated team at our annual Holiday Party. We’re incredibly thankful for the hard work and commitment of everyone at Dunn Construction—our success wouldn’t be possible without them. And of course, everyone loves a little friendly competition! This year’s event featured ping pong, cornhole, football, bingo, and a tacky Christmas attire contest. Congrats to all our event winners!
