We are loving the look so far of the cross laminated timber on the new Discovery Center at Zion National Park. Our team has enjoyed working alongside Place Collaborative and OVERLAND Partners on this beautiful CLT project. We think it is beautiful already and we're excited to see the finished project soon! Our Grandview project has some grand views! Situated on a hill, this building offers picturesque mountain views to the east and a unique view of the Air Force base runway on the other side. It's the perfect built environment for the professionals in the aerospace industry who will work here.

As summer comes to an end and school is starting, we want to extend a heartfelt thank you to our incredible interns who brought so much energy, creativity, and dedication to our team. Josh Wright, Mark Tiyari, Grayce Cheney, and Cole Robinson - your hard work and fresh perspectives have truly made a difference. We are also lucky enough that Josh and Cole have decided to stay with us through the school year! We wish you all the best as you head back to school.

Exciting things are happening at Dunn Associates this morning! We're partnering with University of Utah Engineering Department on a capstone project, and the students are getting some real-world experience with our friends at Applied Geotech. Our parking lot is full of activity as they conduct Cone Penetration Testing (CPT) and Standard Penetration Testing (SPT) to analyze the soil conditions. This data is crucial for designing safe and stable structures. We're thrilled to support the next generation of engineers!

Last week, our Utah team celebrated a groundbreaking for Pickle and Hide in #SaltLakeCity's Granary District. ? This mixed-use development includes the reuse of two historic buildings for ground-floor retail and commercial space. The project also features a multi-family building totaling approximately 130 units. Moreover, a five-story, 33,000 SF hybrid #masstimber office building will complement one of the historic structures.? ? Exciting times as we transform this space with a perfect blend of history and modernity!
