Thank you to Patrick Wilborn, CAM, CMCA, AMS and Tracy Jordan with Destin Gulfgate for inviting us to host a Lunch-and-Learn for FirstService Residential Florida! Today, 17 Community Association Managers braved a storm to attend our brand new Continuing Education Class - Coastal Landscapes 101: A Tale of Two Ecosystems. The course introduces Community Association Managers (CAM) to the Florida Department of Environmental Protection’s CCCL (Coastal Construction Control Line) Program. The CCCL is a jurisdictional boundary that enforces strict construction safety standards and environmental regulations designed to protect waterfront communities, the dune ecosystem, and native wildlife. Over the past year, Amanda Post and Frederique Beroset developed this Continuing Education Class to help CAMs remain in compliance. We are thankful to be a Preferred Vendor with FirstService Residential & look forward to building coastal resiliency with this talented group of Coastal Stewards.
