From the day we opened our doors as Mary Elizabeth Hospital in 1914 through today, we've always stayed close to our founding philosophy of providing compassionate care to our patients. Since 1998, Duke Raleigh has been an important part of Duke Health. Our affiliation with one of the country's best health systems provides our patients with access to the most advanced technology and leading-edge medicine available. Conveniently located off the beltline in North Raleigh, the Duke Raleigh campus has 186 beds and an impressive array of programs and services, including the Duke Raleigh Cancer Center, Duke Raleigh Orthopaedic and Spine Center, cardiovascular services, neurosciences including the Duke Raleigh Skull Base and Cerebrovascular Center, advanced digestive care, disease management and prevention, wound healing, outpatient imaging, intensive and progressive care, pain clinic, same-day surgery, emergency department and community outreach and education programs. . For years we've been the hospital of choice for patients with a variety of health care needs. We are dedicated to building the region’s most experienced and compassionate health care team. Our organization stands with the people of Western North Carolina, and we are doing everything that we can to provide much needed disaster relief support during these very difficult times. ??
Duke Health teams are joining the effort to provide care and relief to residents of Western North Carolina in the wake of Hurricane Helene. The Duke State Medical Assistance Team deployed over the weekend and several additional colleagues are volunteering on the ground. In the Triangle-area, additional teams are providing support for patients who live in the impacted area to ease access to transportation, pharmacy supplies and other needs.
