Duke Manufacturing was honored to host students from the UCM Safety Sciences Department in our Sedalia manufacturing facility. These students are starting on their path to safety and it was a great opportunity to experience safety in the field. The purpose was to give them insight into safety in an operating environment and explore together topics such as automation, machine guarding, ergonomics and process safety systems. The students had a lot of great questions, and it was a very rewarding experience.
