What started as a dream in 1926 with three brothers and a determination to build something meaningful has become a legacy of excellence. Duininck Companies was built on entrepreneurial grit and a passion for serving communities and a care for people. That drive is still at the core of everything we do today.
关于我们
Our journey began nearly 100 years ago with entrepreneurial beginnings in Minnesota road construction. We’ve been stretched by the challenges and filled with gratitude for the successes over the years. Organically and through acquisitions, we’ve grown into a family of companies, each with its own core focus, customer relationships, and unique reflection of our Duininck Family's values. Today, we are a diversified family business portfolio in water management, construction and materials, and real estate industries with over 1,000 dedicated employees at locations across the United States. Now in our fourth generation, we are energized to build for the future with a focus on people, values, and growth.

Our sales team takes a very hands-on approach to serving customers. Matt Baragary is part of our Midwest sales team and spends a large portion of his time on project installation sites providing support throughout the process. He says, "I enjoy being a resource that my customers can depend on to know how to solve the issues they face on a daily basis." Personal customer service is part of #ThePrinscoDifference

Thanks, Travis, for sharing your story and being part of our portfolio!
Building a strong foundation is key for both construction projects and your career. Travis Christensen began his journey with Duininck in 2015 as a pipe layer, where he was literally laying the foundation to ensure the success of his team and each project. He’s carried this mentality with him as he works to build up the people around him in his current role as General Superintendent of the Underground Division. Build your career at Duininck. Prinsco was proud to work with Civil Site Group, PC on a unique system featured in Stormwater Solutions Magazine and awarded "2022 Project of the Year" by the Plastics Pipe Institute Drainage Division. An excerpt from the article: "Focusing on sustainable green construction methods and best management practices (BMPs), The Fred residential apartment complex in Edina, Minnesota, included a rainwater harvesting and reuse system in its design. The project used a large diameter polypropylene pipe for the system that can hold nearly 3,400 cubic feet of water used for irrigation with an additional nearly 1,500 cubic feet used for live storage for the 5.5-acre site. It was named Project of the Year for 2022 by the Drainage Division of the Plastics Pipe Institute, Inc. (PPI)." Humbled by the recognition! Grateful for so many, past and present, that are part of our family business portfolio journey. Eager to share more about the award and event in the future.
What does is take to run a successful family business these days? Just ask our Minnesota Family Business Award winners and finalists, profiled in our October/November print issue. Succeeding in the private marketplace is challenging for any business. When it comes to operating a family business, there is an additional challenge that must be navigated. Family members must make the strategic and tough decisions that are central to running the business, but they also need to maintain or build good relationships with other family members. At an event at the Nicollet Island Pavilion on Wednesday, we will formally bestow Minnesota Family Business Awards to Crossroads Properties, The Opus Group?, Ideal Workplace Solutions, Pilgrim Dry Cleaners Inc, Duininck Companies. We'll also honor Keys Cafe & Bakery, Ferndale Market, Francis King Ltd., and Taher, Inc. as finalists. Randall Kroll, meanwhile, will receive the annual Hubler Award for his approach to working with family businesses.
