Safety Champion Spotlight ?? Environment, Health, and Safety Manager Gonzalo Llamas has played a pivotal role in the growth and success of our safety team. ?? Just three months after Gonzalo was hired, the pandemic began and he developed and implemented a comprehensive pandemic response program. He also created Safety Week, an annual firmwide event comprised of educational programming and training on various safety topics. ??? Gonzalo said "I've always been people-centric." Having previously worked in the ER, he is passionate about taking care of people and supporting them through difficult times. ?? Empathy and building connections with people are critical for keeping our firm safe. Gonzalo says, "The more you connect with people, the better the support you'll be able to provide, which results in a better outcome." ??Gonzalo was recently named runner-up for the Young Safety Professional Excellence Award, which recognized his pivotal role in expanding the functions of our EHS team. ??
