Ducommun Incorporated is excited to announce that our Appleton, WI performance center has received a Recycling Excellence Award from the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR) in the ‘Projects and Initiatives’ category. In 2023, the team launched a zero-landfill initiative that converts green fuel sources into pellets to replace coal at local power plants, helping to reduce coal emissions. Ducommun is proud to sponsor a team of employees from our Appleton, Wisconsin Performance Center who participated in the 9/11 Memorial Stair Climb this past weekend, paying tribute to the 343 firefighters who lost their lives on September 11th, 2001. The event took place at Lambeau Field where the team climbed the equivalent of 110 stories, representing the height of the World Trade Center towers. Each participant wore a fallen first responder's badge and rang a bell at the end of the climb in their memory. Great work, Team Appleton! #NeverForget #September11 #Remembrance
