What a week at CREtech New York 2024! If you noticed we were a little off the grid last week, there’s a good reason for it. This past Wednesday, the 13th, and Thursday, the 14th, we participated in CRETech New York 2024 as sponsors with a booth in the Startup Zone. We had an amazing two days filled with insightful conversations, fruitful meetings, innovation, and genuine connections. We prepared a little something (yes, the very popular yellow ducks) for those who stopped by our booth. It was a great opportunity not only to establish relationships with investors and developers, whom we support by providing EMD financing to unlock opportunities and help them scale, but also to connect with professionals from all areas of the industry, opening up possibilities for partnerships that support mutual growth. We also took the chance to educate attendees who were unfamiliar with soft deposits in CRE acquisitions, including several students ready to soak up all things related to real estate. On the second day, we had more time to walk around and meet other startups and companies shaping the future of the industry. With AI being a core theme of the event, it was great to see its application in solving complex problems in construction, sustainability, data analysis, and deal structuring (speaking of which, you should check out Enlaye and the remarkable work they are doing ??).
