Du?l will promote the best athletes and the best races within Track & Field while creating a product to reach the general sports fan and still bringing excitement to the avid track fan. I wasn't familiar with the story of the Rodeo and Professional Bull Riding until I was forced to, given the number of comps between it and what we're building at Du?l. Bull Riding was 1 of many events within the Rodeo, just like the 100 m race is to track & field. Bull riding had to share the media spotlight with competing Rodeo events although it was the most marketable, just like the 100 m race does in Track & Field. Bull riding is a fast-paced, high-intensity, 7-10 second event that draws the appeal of the modern sport fan, similar to the 100 and the mile race in Track & Field. Bull riders became more marketable themselves and began earning a bigger piece of the pie, just like Track's most electrifying athletes deserve. #NIL All of these factors led to a more sustainable business for PBR that drove interest from television partners, brand partners, and new fan bases. Track athletes deserve more in the years between the summer olympics... more compensation, more media coverage, and more engagement from aligned brand partners. NBC reported that over 35M viewers tuned in to watch Noah Lyles take Gold in the 100m compared to 14.5M on the same day in the 2021 Tokyo games. Avid track fan or not, we all enjoy a competitive foot race. At Du?l we're on a mission to transform the sport into a product that all sports fans are excited to consume year in and year out. There were 3 reasons that drove my conviction in wanting to build Du?l - Track & Field for the next generation. 1) Immense growth in sports leagues & teams The Dallas Cowboys as of yesterday, are the first professional sports team to ever reach a $10B valuation. From leagues like the PLL, League One Volleyball, to a $12m investment into Magnus Carlsen's Freestyle Chess league, there is space to build viable businesses around sports that have been slow to evolve. 2) Timing What better timing than after a ~77% jump in total Olympic viewership across UNBC's platforms from Tokyo 2021 than now? NBC reported record breaking ad revenue and the Olympics return to LA in 2028. 3) Team Both founders have previously disrupted industries and understand evolving landscapes - as do I. This also doesn't work without having athlete buy-in. The talent on the track put together with electric personalities that we've seen throughout the Olympics allows us to continue making story lines with these deserving athletes - building their NIL. #sportsleagues #sportsteams #advertising #trackandfield #olympics #nbc #sprint #nil ?
