#DTGlobalAPAC ?? Developing engaging and positive #partnerships were on the agenda in Canberra this week as the #SoutheastAsia and #Australia #Government to Government (#SEAG2G) Partnerships Program met with a range of Australian Government Agency partners for the program's first Community of Practice. ?? The event was attended by over 30 people from agencies with which the SEAG2G program has established working relationships. It provided an opportunity to build effective partnerships with SEA counterparts, with the ultimate goal of leading to positive long-term impacts. ?? A highlight was hearing from guest speaker Gerald Thomson, First Assistant Secretary, Southeast Asia Strategy and Development Division, DFAT, who discussed the importance of engaging with Southeast Asia in a time of global change. ???? Demand Side Management: Assisting utilities in implementing energy efficiency measures for residential and commercial consumers—financing efficient appliances, lighting, and embedded renewables to manage energy demand. ? RESI (Renewable Energy Electrification of Social Infrastructure): Deploying solar PV battery systems, mini-grids, and energy efficiency solutions to power essential facilities like hospitals and schools.
