Ending the week with a quick update on the 265,264 SF design-build cold storage facility for Karis Cold in Jacksonville, FL. Recent milestones include exterior painting, asphalt paving, the installation of overhead doors and dock equipment, and steady progress on interior electrical work. Coming up next: landscaping and irrigation kick off, and fire pump installations are set for early November. DSI South continues to advance the construction of the 265,264 SF Jacksonville Cold project for Karis Cold, a speculative cold storage facility designed to meet rigorous industry standards. We have commenced the installation of the 450,000 gallon fire protection water storage tank. Installation began last Thursday with its completion scheduled for the end of this month. The tank is engineered to provide robust fire suppression capabilities, an essential component for ensuring the safety and integrity of the facility. Additionally, we have reached a significant milestone with the completion of all freezer slab pours as of this past Saturday. This achievement is crucial as it lays the foundation for the highly specialized cold storage environment, ensuring optimal thermal performance and durability under demanding conditions. Montgomery, IL Project Update: Rail Construction: The first two tracks are nearing completion, including the turnabout tie-in at the BNSF connection. Warehouse and Site: Complete site landscaping will be finished in the next few weeks. Installation of 13 warehouse louvers and dampers is upcoming. Five 24-foot fans and 13 ceiling-mounted dehumidifiers are set for installation. Main Office and Shipping/Receiving Offices: Ceiling finishes are underway with above-ceiling MEP installations. Ceramic floors and walls are being installed and custom wall coverings will be added in the coming weeks.
