Drone Research Society

Drone Research Society (DRS) is a blend of research projects and community engagement. Our research focuses on the real-world application of building aerial drones. Some examples of this include land surveying and nature preservation. Although it is a STEM-focused organization, DRS actively engages with both the UC and Merced communities. DRS has participated in community outreach events that work to give middle and high school kids exposure to drones and the science of flight.
