Florida Institute of Technology's STEMPower Day was a huge success with the ATLAS Lab at Florida Tech team partnering with Dr. Brooke Wheeler and Dr. Vivek Sharma, Ph.D. from the College of Aeronautics and Drone Club at Florida Tech to deliver fun and engaging activities for K-12 participants in a range of build and fly activities in the?Drone?Zone and?Plane and Simple Fun.??Thank you to everyone who participated and we hope to see everyone next year!

The Drone Club at Florida Tech is inspiring students to pursue their interest in unmanned aerial systems. The club focuses on all aspects of drone operation, including building, racing, photography and filming, and aerial mapping and surveying. Resources are available for students to practice flying on simulators before trying their hand at flying one of the many club drones. You get out of this club what you put into it!
