    When we launched Drippy in 2022, we had a simple goal: to create great sodas infused with cannabis that we would love to drink ourselves. We didn’t want to just blend in with the crowd; we wanted to make something fun and enjoyable that would refresh the daily ritual. The journey however hasn't been a walk in the park. Entering the regulated California market even with our combined years of experience operating multiple regulated cannabis businesses in the past - it was painful trying to fit a new product category into a system that wasn't built for it. The restrictiveness of the regulation made it extremely difficult and costly. You basically paid a tax to operate at every step of the way from manufacturing, storage, distribution and finally getting on shelves of dispensaries just to have the opportunity to get in front of a customer. Not to mention no samples could be pulled from the system for promotion. It was a pay to play environment with no end in sight. Fast forward to today, our values remain rock solid, but we’ve had to evolve. After grappling with these challenges, we made a bold move that changed everything: pivoting to hemp derived THC infused sodas that could be sold nationwide with a central focus on direct to consumer. It was important to be able to control our brand voice and build strong customer relationships, something only DTC could offer in a direct way. Now, Drippy is available online, shipped straight to your door across the country, and we’re seeing our revenue grow month after month.
