Last week, team Loverboy took on Dallas, TX for our first ever #LoverboyCon. As a predominately remote team, bonding time is extremely important to our company, and we were so grateful to get everyone together for a proper dose of work and fun. A major shoutout to Andrews Distributing for our two successful events in the form of a Total Wine & More meet and greet with founder Kyle Cooke & fellow OG Carl Radke, and a Tuesday evening party at Concrete Cowboy in Frisco (which had us fooled for a Saturday night with the energy everyone brought). From LA to NYC, it was so much fun to get the whole group together. We'd also like to highlight our Loverboy employees of the month, Amanda Valentine, WSET ll & Kendy Ferrell who helped put together this entire trip and show us the Texas way. A “pinch me” moment getting to speak at ADWEEK #SMW on behalf of Loverboy Inc. with the incredible Ashley Leuzinger (who I will argue was the most impressive speaker I’ve ever witnessed at a panel) and Caleb Simpson, one of my favorite creators on the internet. Special thanks to Will Lee for hosting our panel, and Sara Mogollón for thinking to include me!
This #SMW panel brought together creator Caleb Simpson, Aki Technologies’ Ashley Leuzinger and Loverboy Inc.’s Dylan Marino, who discussed how to craft authentic, personalized experiences that resonate amidst the noise, fostering relationships and driving innovation. "It's easy right now for a lot of marketers to think of social as one size fit all, they don't look at creators as individuals," said Leuzinger. "It really just comes down to real life influence and authenticity," said Marino. "There is a general consensus in the comments, weather someone cares or not cares," said Simpson.
