A new study from the University of Birmingham compared 300 million vehicle test records and found that #electricvehicles are "more reliable" and can "match the lifespans" of ICE vehicles. Key takeaways: ?EVs are 12% less likely to break down compared to 6.7% for petrol and 1.9% for diesel vehicles. ?EV lifespan is now at 18.4 years and 124,000 miles, on average. Global sales of #EVs and plug-in hybrid vehicles are expected to rise at least 17% this year. Car makers look to 2025 as a transformative year.
