Throughout Jan. 2025, California’s Los Angeles and San Diego counties were devastated by a series of destructive wildfires that resulted in at least 29 deaths, as well as the destruction of more than 18,000 homes and buildings, forcing the evacuation of more than 200,000 residents. As the region works to rebuild, the DRI Foundation has provided financial support for two organizations giving on-the-ground assistance to those who need it most.
