Celebrating a Decade of Draftline Technologies and the Year of the Technician – Welcome 2025! 2025 is here—it’s going to be a milestone year for Draftline Technologies as we celebrate our 10-year anniversary this August. When I started Draftline Technologies, it was driven by a deep belief that there had to be a better way to track the beer line cleaning process and reduce burdensome paperwork. More importantly, I wanted to elevate the status and appreciation for the incredible Beverage Technicians who perform the vital, day-to-day work that keeps draft systems running smoothly. Back then, I had no idea where this journey would take us. Fast forward to today, and I’m humbled to see that we’re now tracking over 1 million lines across the U.S., and partnering with thousands of people daily. Looking back, the path seems clear, but at the start, it was filled with uncertainty. Through it all, I’ve remained grateful for the incredible team at Draftline Technologies and the community we’ve built together. As we look ahead to our 10th year, I feel deeply aligned with my purpose. A concept I recently came across,?"Walking in your Dharma,"?perfectly describes the feeling of fulfilling my life's calling. Supporting Technicians has always come naturally to me—it’s woven into my family’s legacy and feels like second nature. In the spirit of honoring that passion, our team at Draftline Technologies came together to decide on a focus for the year. Unanimously, we chose to dedicate?2025 as the Year of the Technician. To celebrate, we’re introducing an?Award of Excellence?to honor Technicians who achieve and maintain the highest standards of excellence over 52 weeks. I’m thrilled to announce our inaugural honoree:?Frank Howard of Zink Distributing Co Inc. Frank’s journey is nothing short of inspiring. When I first met Frank, he told me he’d rather quit than learn to use a new technology. After working together for just a few days, he embraced the Draftline Technician Platform and never looked back. Today, Frank is a top performer, a favorite among our Draftline Cloud Support Team and someone I’m proud to call a friend. Frank is a shining example of resilience, adaptability, and success. Congratulations Frank on this well deserved recognition and thank you for being such an integral part of this journey. Had a great time at the Beer Marketer's Insights Conference on Monday. Shoutout to Benj Steinman—always a truth seeker! Draftline Technologies would not exist with out these two veterans, because I wouldn’t exist! My parents met the day my Uncle and Dad deployed for the UnitedStates Navy. Thanks for your service Dad and Uncle Dave??????. Normally it was hundreds of people shipping off - that day it was only two people! Here they are shaking hands over 55 years later at my little cousins wedding a couple weeks ago. Funny how things work out.
