The Corporate Transparency Act requires certain businesses to report their beneficial ownership information (BOI) to the Financial Crimes Enforcement Network (FinCEN) to enhance transparency and combat financial crimes. Today, a federal judge has lifted the injunction on these requirements, meaning enforcement is back in effect. ?? New BOI Deadline: March 21, 2025, for most businesses ?? Florida Filers: If your business received a disaster-related extension (due to Hurricanes Debby, Helene, or Milton), follow your later deadline. ?? Failure to comply may result in penalties. ??
