Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) Attends Recent National Security Alliance (NSA) Meeting Members of the DSS leadership team participated in a recent meeting of the National Security Alliance (NSA). The NSA held its 2024 GSX/ASIS Meeting on September 25, 2024, at the Capital Grille in Orlando, Florida, located near to the conference center at which the ASIS International, Global Security Exchange (GSX) conference was also being held. The NSA event featured opening remarks by DSS President and Chief Operating Officer Mario J. Doyle, CPP, who is the current NSA Chairman, and NSA Executive Director Mike Beckerich. Among the many topics addressed during the meeting were: the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in contract review, market conditions for security services providers, force management technology, and the impact of software platform outages on security operations. The meeting also featured a discussion of the potential for civil unrest around the upcoming U.S. elections, challenges involving the recruitment and retention of qualified personnel, and new technology applications to enhance operational efficiency. National Security Alliance members operate in 47 U.S. states and nine Canadian provinces, providing security officer services, special event security, and risk management solutions for clients across a wide range of industries. Together, NSA members have 115 branch offices and deploy almost 13,000 security officers across North America. DSS leverages the NSA network of member companies to provide nationwide coverage to clients with facilities outside our primary operating footprint.

Recently, members of the DSS team spent an evening cruising the waters around Long Island. The annual event brought together DSS executives, corporate support staff, regional managers, and other selected team members for dinner, drinks, dessert, and dancing, onboard a luxury yacht called The Sapphire Princess. The four-hour cruise around Long Island’s Great South Bay recognized new DSS team members, recently promoted team members, and the effort and ongoing commitment of the DSS team. The Sapphire Princess features a full-service bar, a large dining room with panoramic bay windows that offer sweeping views of coastal scenery, outside seating areas with bistro tables, a dance floor, and a DJ booth. Events like the dinner cruise are part of DSS’s ongoing investment in our team. Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) is pleased to introduce Roe Manghisi (ret. Capt. NJ State Police), as our new Vice President, Protective & Consulting Services. Roe will be responsible for managing DSS armed personnel, direct executive protection details, conduct investigations, liaise with law enforcement and intelligence agencies, and oversees the DSS Safety Act Certification program. Roe has over four decades of experience in law enforcement and security. She began her career with the New Jersey State Police as a member of the first class of female state troopers. During her time with the state police, Roe assisted with intelligence operations at Ground Zero in the aftermath of September 11, 2001; led state troopers deployed to New Orleans in the wake of Hurricane Katrina; and oversaw security for many high-level state events. She also received considerable praise for her undercover Organized Crime and Narcotics investigations, which resulted in some of the largest confiscations of illicit drugs and currency, and took part in an undercover operation that led to the arrest and conviction of high-level criminals. After more than 26 years, Roe retired as a Captain and Chief of Staff, the first woman to achieve that title. She then served in senior roles at several security services providers, establishing special services divisions to cater to elite clients, and leveraging law enforcement contacts to grow annual sales. She was most recently the Chief Operating Officer of a nationwide security organization. “We are excited to welcome Roe to the DSS family,” commented DSS President and COO Mario J. Doyle, CPP. “Her extensive law enforcement experience and security expertise made her a natural fit for DSS. She is a valuable addition to our leadership team.” Roe is a graduate of the FBI National Academy and earned a B.A. in Criminal Justice from Seton Hall University and Thomas Edison State College. Doyle Security Services, Inc. (DSS) was honored to support the Long Island Chapter of ASIS International’s 14th Annual Charity Golf Outing. This year's Charity was the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program. The basic mission of the Marine Toys for Tots Program is to collect new unwrapped toys and distribute them to less fortunate children at Christmas.
