September is Huntsville Music Month!??
Organized by the Huntsville Music Office, this month-long celebration is designed to build excitement around all aspects of our music culture, shine a brighter spotlight on our music community, inspire creation, establish new concepts and events, encourage collaborations, and help champion Huntsville’s appeal to musicians and fans through its reputation as a music?friendly city.
One of the highlights of this year’s Huntsville Music Month is the Launchpad Music Festival taking place September 6-8 at Big Spring Park East. The three-day event will feature a stellar lineup including The Beastie Goys, an electrifying Beastie Boys tribute band, alongside talented acts like R&B artist Mechi Rae, Soul Karnival, Carver Commodore, and Huntsville's own Silver Silos.
"Launchpad showcases the wealth of talent right here in the Tennessee Valley," Huntsville Music Officer Matt Mandrella said. "The region boasts a deep well of skilled artists, and we’re thrilled to feature some of them on a big stage right in the heart of downtown Huntsville."
