We are incredibly honored to have received the Special Recognition Award Celebrating 50 years of Collaboration and Impact at the CNY Business Journal Nonprofit Awards. This award would not have been possible without our many community partnerships and the hard work and dedication that every employee throughout these 50 years has shown not only to the Downtown Committee, but to our Downtown Syracuse Community. Receiving this award is a testament to the collective impact we can make as a community when united by a common vision of a vibrant and welcoming Downtown. We would like to thank the Central New York Business Journal, Biz Events, and the panel of judges for bestowing us with this honor! We would also like to congratulate the other award winners: Board Development & Leadership awarded to Dietra Harvey from YMCA of the Mohawk Valley, Career Achievement awarded to Toni Gary from The Upstate Foundation, Collaboration Award awarded to Amazon in collaboration with Erin’s Angels of CNY, Corporate Community Support awarded to Servpro Team Sepe supporting Mothers and Babies Perinatal Network, Executive of the Year awarded to Maria Murra, PhD from The Reading League, Impact Award awarded to Dennis Bobbette from Pompey Rod & Gun Club, Outstanding Fundraising Event awarded to Syracuse Charity Brushfest supporting Ronald McDonald House Charities of CNY, and Volunteer of the Year awarded to Steve Nee from Advocates, Inc..
